Get Involved on Campus

The Butte College Office of Student Life is here to encourage student involvement on campus and support student initiatives. We don't separate life from education and know that learning happens both inside and outside the classroom! A successful college career includes social as well as intellectual development.

Student Life Programs and Support

The Office of Student Life supports programs and opportunities that encourage student leadership and engagment on campus. Student Life offers this support through student government, student clubs, and the allocation of grants and funding to student projects and initiatives.

BC Connect Portal

BC Connect is your student involvement portal to find and access student organizations such as clubs, interest groups, student centers, and student government.BC  BC Connect allows you to search for virtual and campus events as well as track your involvement and memberships during your time at Butte College. Stay connected and login to BC Connect!

Reserve the Chico Center Student Lounge

The Chico Center Student Lounge (CHC146) is located on the first floor of the Chico Center. It is a space that centers STUDENT gatherings such as clubs, student government, and student initiatives. The CHC Student Lounge is NOT available for faculty, departments, or instruction to use. If you need a meeting space, there are conference rooms available, please email Dorrie Watson for availability. 

Reserve the Nest

The Roadrunner Nest is located on the first floor of the Campus Center. It is a dynamic event space designed to be easily configured to meet your small or large event needs. All tables and chairs are on wheels. It is the responsibility of the event host to arrange existing room furniture to meet the needs of the event.  The maximum capacity of this space is 200.
